Signs of Spring

It's slowly starting to warm up here in Springfield and with the sun setting later and later each day we have started to see signs of spring.

Today in our yard we saw daffodils poking their heads out of the ground.

If you squint you can see the daffodils

While on a walk today we also noticed pussy willows on the trees

 And tulip bulbs are also peeking out of the dirt at our house

There WILL be flowers soon

Another sure sign of spring is that March Madness is right around the corner. Today we watched the Wolverines destroy the Spartans with our fellow Michigan friends.

Hopefully the first day of spring here will be much kinder than it was last year when it snowed on us.

Since my Valentine's Day post promising treats from Elle's to out of town visitors we've lined up visitors in March (Brian), April (Becky) and July (Ellen and kiddos)! Lucky us :-).
