2017 Highlights

New Year, new blogging goals. Annie and I resolve to write more this year than last!

2017 had some great times that were not captured here on the Annie blog so we'll share a few photos to highlight our adventures.

In July we enjoyed a trip to Michigan for the Kelly Family Reunion 2017 and a surprise 40th birthday party in Ann Arbor for Ms. Ellen Audrey.

October saw a trip for Dan and Mary to Manhattan where we visited with Ray, Kerry, and Avery and even spent an evening catching up with cousin Jessica!

In November I flew to Santa Fe and met up with friends for a long weekend while Dan did some conference traveling to Dallas.

We enjoyed luxurious soaking and a mud bath at Ojo Caliente hot springs in addition to enjoying great company, the art scene in Santa Fe, and exciting hiking.

In November Annie was over the moon when Kevin came to visit from Ann Arbor for Thanksgiving. We took Daddoo to the Huntington Library where he enjoyed the cacti garden and Chinese garden (where we had a Natalie Portman sighting!), San Diego for Turkey with the McGuinnesses, the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Gardens, surprise date day at a Mandir, the Dividing the Light art exhibit at Pomona, on a bicycle ride to downtown LaVerne, to a couple dinner parties hosted by friends in the neighborhood, and up to Mt Baldy Village. We hope we weren't too boring for him and that he comes back to visit again soon!

Before we headed off to our end of 2017 adventure I drove to Beverly Hills and  met Katie's new baby boy, Carter. Here he is all swaddled up . . . what a doll:

Next up we'll share our adventures in Colorado - Annie was thrilled to be invited on the trip!
